Hi! I am so glad you are here! To quickly introduce myself, my name is Phyo Pyi Kyaw (FE-YO P JAW). My pronouns are he/him.

Pre-College

I was born into a family of three siblings in Yangon, Myanmar. After moving to NYC, I was able to attend a public high school in Bayside, NY. While attending there, I developed passion for programming and physics.

Higher Education

Vassar College

Vassar College, located in Upstate NY, gave me a full scholarship to study Physics. After completing my Physics major by the end of my sophomore year, I explored engineering program with Dartmouth College to complement my Physics study.

Dartmouth College

After spending a remote COVID year at Dartmouth, I came to enjoy electrical engineering. Most of my featured projects are from my time at Dartmouth.

Hobbies

• I enjoy swimming casually and also swam competitively in high school and Vassar College Swim and Dive Team D3.
• I love collecting gadgets and reading non-fiction books.
• I like to claim that I make perfect coffee … with instant, but I do plan on expanding to making espresso.
• I enjoy casual Texas Hold’em poker… but no outrageous buy ins
• I try to lose a game of chess everyday ( I like to play Queen’s Gambit and Scandinavian Defense)
